Module time_field
Expand description
TimeField: the time of day a day is due at, picked under the day.
The field is one row of the popover a DateField opens: the hour
and the minute it is due at, with a quiet “Remove time” beside them, or a single quiet “Add
time” while the day has none. Adding a time starts at nine in the morning, the hour people
mean when they say a time of day and name none; stepping a spinner writes the time it shows.
The day and its time read as one fact (DateField says the day,
this says its time), so an app that pairs them writes one chip, never two. The owner learns of
a change through TimeField::on_change and tells the field a time from elsewhere with
TimeField::set_value; a described component’s field follows the moment its binding holds
(TimeField::from_state).
