SliderTouch

Struct SliderTouch

pub struct SliderTouch { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

One finger on a slider, read as the pointer held down: the value jumps to where the finger lands, follows it while it moves (on or off the track) and settles where it lifts. Every Tilo slider reads touch through this, the Slider widget and the shell’s own drawn sliders alike, so a finger works wherever a mouse does.

A slider claims the contact raw (Widget::claims_raw_touch), so the toolkit’s touch-to-pointer translation never turns the drag into a scroll or delays the press to the lift as it does for a tap.

Implementations§

§

impl SliderTouch

pub fn step( &mut self, touch: &Touch, scale_factor: f64, hits: impl FnOnce(Point) -> bool, ) -> SliderTouchStep

Read one contact update. scale_factor turns its physical location logical; hits says whether a finger landing there is on the slider, and is asked only when a contact begins.

pub fn is_active(&self) -> bool

Whether a finger is holding the slider.

pub fn cancel(&mut self)

Forget the holding finger (the slider went away or was disabled).
