Struct ProposalTarget
pub struct ProposalTarget<R, T = String>where
R: Resource,{
pub path: Path<R, T>,
pub range: Option<Range<usize>>,
}Expand description
Where an accepted proposal writes: the field of the record R the answer
belongs to, and the characters of it the answer replaces.
T is the field’s own value type, so a ProposalChange::Value answer
is written as that field is stored — a boolean, a number, a choice’s key —
and a ProposalChange::Text answer splices the characters of a text.
Fields§
§path: Path<R, T>The field, from the record’s root.
range: Option<Range<usize>>The characters the answer replaces, when the proposal is of a
selection; None replaces the field whole.
Implementations§

R: Resource,
impl<R, T> ProposalTarget<R, T>where
R: Resource,
pub fn whole(path: Path<R, T>) -> ProposalTarget<R, T>
pub fn whole(path: Path<R, T>) -> ProposalTarget<R, T>
The whole of the field at path.
pub fn selection(path: Path<R, T>, range: Range<usize>) -> ProposalTarget<R, T>
pub fn selection(path: Path<R, T>, range: Range<usize>) -> ProposalTarget<R, T>
The characters of the text field at path between the range’s bounds,
counted in chars from the start of the field.
pub fn characters(&self, original: &str) -> (usize, usize)
pub fn characters(&self, original: &str) -> (usize, usize)
The characters an answer replaces, given the original it was made of: the selection’s, or the whole field’s.
