Struct RichTextLineProps

pub struct RichTextLineProps {

    pub placeholder: Option<String>,
    pub role: Option<TextRole>,
    pub mono: bool,
    pub wrap: bool,

    pub backspace_at_start: Event,
}
Expand description

One line of text, edited in place: a block editor’s cell, a composer’s message. It carries its text and its inline marks, and reports the keys that would carry the edit out of the line itself (Enter, Shift+Enter, Backspace at the start), so a host composing several lines can split or join them.

Fields§

§value: Bound<String>

The text it edits.

§placeholder: Option<String>

What to type, shown while it is empty.

§role: Option<TextRole>

How the text reads: body unless said.

§mono: bool

The text is monospace (code).

§wrap: bool

The line wraps to its width rather than scrolling across.

§enter: Event

Enter was pressed: the line ends at this byte.

§soft_enter: Event

Shift+Enter was pressed: the line breaks at this byte, a soft break.

§backspace_at_start: Event

Backspace at the start was pressed: the line joins the one before it.
