Enum Origin
pub enum Origin {
Person,
App,
PersonConfirming,
}Expand description
Who asked for a queued invocation on this device.
Variants§
Person
A person’s gesture: a press, a key, a pick from a menu. A refusal is said over the window, so a click is never dropped unseen.
App
The app on its own, for nobody’s gesture: a read receipt, keeping a record in step with what is shown. Nobody pressed anything, so a refusal is reported to the app and logged, never put over the window as if the person had been refused.
PersonConfirming
A person’s pick that the app asks them to confirm before it goes ahead (Delete in a message’s menu), though the action’s contract asks nothing: the host asks as it asks for any confirmation, with the same rule that Shift skips it for what Undo takes back.
