Enum Rhythm
pub enum Rhythm {
None,
Tight,
Related,
Sibling,
Section,
Group,
}Expand description
How two neighbours relate, which decides how far apart they sit
(HIG §7b). Layout containers take one (Column::with_rhythm,
Row::with_rhythm) and resolve it against the theme they are laid out
with, so the gap follows density, ui_scale and a custom spacing scale.
Variants§
None
Neighbours that meet: a window’s bar and the content under it are one surface, not two things standing beside each other, so nothing separates them.
Tight
The smallest gap two neighbours may have: a label and its caption, and anything else that takes no press.
Related
Controls inside one cluster: the closest two controls stand. The face a control draws is
smaller than the press target it takes, which reaches into the gap around it, so this is
the step two controls hold between them; Tight is for neighbours that take no press.
Sibling
Siblings of equal weight: rows, cards, clusters on a bar.
Section
Between two sections; padding inside a panel body.
Group
Between groups of sections; the content gutter.
