Struct Landing
pub struct Landing { /* private fields */ }Expand description
A transfer’s write, accepted by the store and on its way to disk.
Another process reads the record next (the instance that opens it, an
app restarted around a merge), so the hand-off to it waits until the
write is Durability::Durable. Asking never blocks: on a thread that
may wait the write had landed before it was returned, and on one that
must not (durable_store::waiting) the store’s thread commits it while
the document stays leased to it. Nobody else writes the record before
it lands.
Implementations§
§impl Landing
impl Landing
pub fn durability(&self, store: &dyn DurableStore) -> Durability
pub fn durability(&self, store: &dyn DurableStore) -> Durability
Whether the write has reached the disk, in store, the store that
accepted it. Never blocks.
pub fn all(store: &dyn DurableStore, landings: &[Landing]) -> Durability
pub fn all(store: &dyn DurableStore, landings: &[Landing]) -> Durability
How all of landings in store stand: failed if any failed,
pending while any is, durable once every one is.
