Struct Lens

pub struct Lens {
    pub refraction: f32,
    pub sampling: Sampling,
    pub cell: f32,
    pub band: f32,
    pub dispersion: f32,
}
Expand description

How the backdrop is bent and filtered where a part shows it.

The bend is a convex lens along the shape’s rounded edge: within band of the edge, each pixel shows what lies below a point moved toward the shape’s inside, along the normal of its rounded outline, by up to refraction at the edge and easing to none at the band’s inner side. Inside the band the backdrop shows straight.

Fields§

§refraction: f32

Displacement at the shape’s rim, logical pixels, easing to none a band’s width in: a thick lens. 0 shows the backdrop straight.

§sampling: Sampling

How the sample is filtered.

§cell: f32

The cell’s side in logical pixels, for Sampling::Blocky; ignored otherwise.

§band: f32

The width of the band along the rim the bend eases across, logical pixels; 0 is two and a half times refraction. A lens that states a band shows what lies below even unbent and unblurred.

§dispersion: f32

How far apart the bend sets red and blue at the rim, as a fraction of the bend (0 none, the stock): the slight colour fringe of real glass.
