}Expand description
How an input method may help in a field. Each is a request on top of the input method’s own default for the purpose; none set leaves that default.
Fields§
§completion: boolSuggest completions of the word being typed.
spellcheck: boolSuggest corrections of misspelt words.
capitalization: Capitalization§lowercase: boolPrefer lower-case letters.
multiline: boolLine breaks are text.
Do not show what is typed, in the keyboard either.
sensitive: boolLearn nothing from what is typed and suggest nothing from it.
own_keys: boolThe field brings its own on-screen keys, such as a calculator’s keypad: a soft keyboard would only cover them, so none is raised. Hardware keys and the input method still type into it.
