Call

Struct Call

Source
pub struct Call { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Another resource’s published action, as an effect calls it (EffectCx::call): the resource a reference names, in the app that keeps it, and the action’s arguments. The host decides it as the effect’s caller, as it decides every action.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Call

Source

pub fn on( app: &str, record: Option<&str>, reference: &ResourceRef, action: &str, ) -> Self

action of the resource reference names, which app keeps in record (None: the app’s own record of the workspace), with no arguments yet.

Source

pub fn host(provider: &str, resource: &str, action: &str) -> Self

action of resource, which the host publishes under provider itself (the desktop’s open on desktop:session, under tilo.desktop), with no arguments yet.

Source

pub fn with(self, arguments: impl Serialize) -> Self

The call with arguments, a struct or map of the action’s parameters by name.

Source

pub fn action(&self) -> &str

The action this calls.
