Struct EventDescription
pub struct EventDescription {
pub name: String,
pub doc: String,
pub value: Option<Type>,
pub at: Option<Type>,
pub press: bool,
}Expand description
Something that happens to a component. What it does is data: an action reference, invoked through the door, or a view-state update; never a closure.
Fields§
§name: String§doc: String§value: Option<Type>The value the event carries (the key a list selected), when it carries one.
at: Option<Type>Where the value lands, when the event says: a drop’s place among the other items of
what it was dropped on, counted from 0. An event with one carries [value, at].
press: boolWhether the event is the action of the control that raises it: a press of the control runs the action the view bound to it, through the door, so the press and an agent’s invocation of that action are the one route. An event that is not is the view’s own: it is reported to the view, which decides what it does.
