Struct PrimaryRead
pub struct PrimaryRead(/* private fields */);Expand description
The committed read of a joined manager’s primary route, to be taken on
any thread: an owner that must not wait on its own thread (a tilolang host
running other instances meanwhile) reads it on another and enters
construction with what it read (NativeConstruction::enter_read).
Implementations§
§impl PrimaryRead
impl PrimaryRead
pub fn of(manager: &CollaborationManager) -> Result<Option<PrimaryRead>, String>
pub fn of(manager: &CollaborationManager) -> Result<Option<PrimaryRead>, String>
The read manager’s primary route needs before its record is built;
None when it needs none (a route whose reads are not committed, a
manager without the broker).
pub fn read(&self) -> Result<CommittedDocument, String>
pub fn read(&self) -> Result<CommittedDocument, String>
Wait for the read, on the calling thread, for as long as the broker takes; its worker’s end and the route’s failure end the wait.
