What a prompt asks for.
Variants§
Secret
One secret: a password or a passphrase.
UsernameAndSecret
A user name and a secret: enterprise Wi-Fi, a VPN login, polkit for one of several administrators.
Pin
Digits only, between min and max of them.
SimPin
A SIM’s PIN, with the attempts the SIM has left when the modem says.
SimPuk
A SIM locked after too many wrong PINs: its PUK and a new PIN, typed twice, with the PUK attempts left when the modem says.
Fields
The fields the asker names (SecretPrompt::with_fields): a VPN’s
user name, password and one-time code, a key’s passphrase.
