Module save
Expand description
A record’s save state: its on-disk copy in a workspace this device governs, and whether what the record holds has reached it.
The copy is the store’s (app_state): one document per record,
keyed by package, workspace and record, written by its [DocWriter]. The
toolkit’s record store (ui::record) opens and reports records through
these; a process without the toolkit does the same.
Enums§
- Record
Save Status - Whether a record’s changes are stored.
Functions§
- open_
stored - Open the document
storeholds, as a workspace this device governs reads it: from its on-disk copy, with a writer that keeps it there. A document that left the workspace (super::retirement) starts over. - open_
stored_ adopting open_storedfor a member’s own record of an app (member:<person>:…), which may have kept its records in the workspace’s record before: when this device holds no copy of the person’s record yet and holds the workspace’s record of the app (workspace), the person’s record starts as that copy, its history and ids with it, so what they saw there is theirs from then on. The workspace’s record is only read: nothing in it changes or goes. Once the person’s record has a copy, it is opened as it is.- open_
with_ committed_ read - Open the document
storeholds, as a workspace another host governs reads it: the broker’s committed read of the workspace (read) merged into the on-disk copy, which keeps the merged graph from then on. - record_
document - The on-disk copy of the record
record_keyofpackagein the workspacehome, as a shared writer indocuments. - workspace_
document - The on-disk copy of the workspace document of
packagein the workspaceworkspace: what an app that keeps one record for the workspace ([StorageKey::workspace_index]) holds there, as a shared writer indocuments.
