Copy text only if a system clipboard backend accepts it, without waiting for it to.

Never retains the text in an in-process buffer. The outcome may settle after this returns (an app’s own Wayland connection answers through the event loop); keep it in a CopyWatch to say so when it fails. Use this for success messages that require an actual clipboard write rather than an editor-local copy.
