Module content

Expand description

Content by address: the store a host lends an app (ViewCx::content), and in a native process the device store the launcher handed it, so an app or a headless agent reaches content through the toolkit rather than through the store’s own crates.

Structs§

ContentStore
An app’s handle to binary content: cheap to clone, passed to whatever needs it.
PublicCopy
One public file, by the name the daemon knows it under.

Enums§

PublicState
What reading a public copy found.

Functions§

device
The device content store the launcher handed this process, or None when it was handed none (started outside a Tilo session).
opened_as
What content an app is opened with is taken as, from its bytes: its file extension and media type. A picture or a video by its signature, a document by its format, text as text; anything else is opaque bytes. Content handed to an app travels without the name its sender gave it, so the bytes alone say which app’s file it is.
public_copy
The device’s one copy of the public file name (a catalogue the filesystem daemon mirrors for every app and workspace), when this host keeps such copies: None on one that keeps none (the web).
valid_hash
Whether hash has the shape of a content address (64 lower- or upper-case hex digits). Addresses arrive from documents and peers, so anything else is refused before it can name a path.
