Module animation_schedule
Expand description
Paces animation-only redraw requests on the display’s own refresh; input and renderer recovery bypass it.
The beat is the refresh interval of the output the window is on
([AnimationSchedule::set_refresh_millihertz]), read again whenever an
animation starts, so a 90 Hz panel animates at 90 Hz and a window moved
to a 60 Hz monitor follows it. Ticks stay on one grid: a late callback
takes the next beat after it, without a catch-up burst and without
drifting the phase the swapchain has settled into.
Constants§
- WAKE_
MATCH_ SLACK - Deadlines computed against a slightly later clock than the minimum they are compared with still name the same owner.
Functions§
- animating_
leaves - Paths to the deepest widgets under
rootasking for animation frames: the ones actually holding the loop open, not every container above them, each with its box andcrate::widget::Widget::animation_detail.~marks a widget that animates without asking to be redrawn: a retained parent cache then never reaches it again. Allocates, so only diagnostics call it. - waking_
leaves - Paths to the deepest widgets under
rootwhose one-shot wake deadline isdueor earlier: who wakes an otherwise idle loop next. Allocates, so only diagnostics call it.
